Does Marketization Promote High-Quality Agricultural Development in China?

Over the past 40 years of reform and opening, enhancement in marketization has greatly promoted development Chinese economy. At present, China’s economic model shifted from a focus on speed to quality. Against this background, it is necessary further promote high-quality China. This paper begins with an introduction agricultural degree marketization. According definitions marketization, we constructed index degree, respectively. First, determined characteristics There are large regional differences agriculture development, but these disparities improving simultaneously, showing narrowing trend, except for western region. Then, measured impact reforms using Quadratic Assignment Procedure. Based sample data 2009 2019, found that played significant role promoting development. The three sub-indicators non-state-owned economy, factor market, market’s level order, which represent had impacts reducing Additionally, effects variables gradually increased, Finally, suggested order would be important path boosting agriculture.
